On Writing by Stephen King is a textbook for writers who want to learn more on the craft of writing. He wrote this book in memoir style, so it gives us some insight into why & how he became a writer. It would even appeal to people who just want to know more about him and not necessarily about the craft. BUT, if you are a writer, this is a MUST READ! I highly recommend it. I enjoyed every page of it.
