The Good Girl, by Mary Kubica Thriller/Psychological Suspense Novel Wow! Mary Kubica hit National Bestseller status on her first book… I’m freaking jealous. I found “The Good Girl” to be a wonderful suspenseful debut with non-stop questions running through your mind. As you dig into this book, everything seems to point in one direction, but quickly heads elsewhere fast. The bookstores were labeling this book as the next “Gone Girl”, which I could see the small comparisons and similarities, but truly, you can’t really compare them. They are not the same. I did enjoy reading Gillian Flynn’s Gone Girl, just as much as this one. In fact, I read Kubica’s The Good Girl in one night… one long night, but one GOOD night. It satisfied my quench for psychological dark mysterious reading. So, basically, I couldn’t put it down. It made me smile. To read my full review, go HERE. |
