Being a writer, means I'm usually isolated and solely concentrating on writing a novel or two (when I'm not cruising the social media sites). The problem with that... it gets lonely sometimes. The self-doubt sets in and starts to eat away at both, your heart and your mind. That's why writing buddies can come in handy.

For me, gathering together with my writing buddies keeps me motivated and inspired. I belong to quite a few different writing groups, so I feel inspired several times through any given day. In every group, there are a mixture of personalities, and it makes for a good meeting, whether you do it online or in person.
